Player of the Year Awards: Full list of winners

Final home match culminated with awards ceremony in the Viticult Lounge

29 April 2024

An impressive first season back with the Dons earned Jake Reeves the Club Player of the Year award on Saturday.

Our skipper was an overwhelming choice for the accolade, scooping 50 per cent of the vote from the 2,175 supporters that voted online. The midfielder is pictured above at Saturday's awards ceremony with Dons Trust Chair Michele Little and AFCW PLC Chair Mick Buckley.

We presented all of our awards at Saturday's game, for Johnnie Jackson's men after a season of progress and our women's team after their stunning title success.

Ashlee Hincks won the Dennis Lowndes Women's Player of the Year with 37.81 per cent of the vote and Jack Currie's superb campaign was rewarded with four awards.

Unsurprisingly, THAT last-minute winner by Ronan Curtis won one of our Goal of the Season awards - earning 72 per cent of the vote! Ronan was presented with his award by a Wimbledon striker still revered to this day - that man Marcus Gayle, who was our special guest for the Walsall match.

Our awards day culminated with a well attended ceremony in the Viticult Lounge and we thank all of those supporters who stayed on after the end of the League Two season to make it a great atmosphere on the night.

But don't forget there's still one match to play at the Cherry Red Records Stadium this season!

Champions AFC Wimbledon Women will lift the trophy on Sunday after the home game versus Actonians LFC (2 pm kick-off), so please come along and give them the support that they deserve.
